BAE Systems subsidiary Malloy Aeronautics has unveiled a counter-drone variant of its T-150 uncrewed aerial system (UAS), equipped with a three-pod launcher for laser-guided rockets.
During the Joint Readiness Experimentation exercise with the US, the “TRV-150” successfully took down multiple one-way attack drones in rapid succession without reloading.
The trials used BAE’s Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) rockets and were conducted alongside Maryland-based SURVICE Engineering, which helped adapt the platform to US Army requirements.
