Spain Orders South Korean K9 Howitzers, Marking Western Europe Entry

Spain’s Indra Sistemas has signed a contract with South Korea’s Hanwha Aerospace to procure K9 self-propelled howitzers, marking the K9’s entry into Western Europe.

HMAS Spencer and Hawke will now operate as His Majestys Australian Ships (HMAS). Together with the Arafura Class Offshore Patrol Vessels (ACOPV), they will play a key role in Navys contribution to helping patrol and secure Australias maritime borders.
