Filming Russian Kills Lets Ukrainian Troops Earn Weapons From Military Tech Store

Ukrainian soldiers now have a chance to access new weapons if they capture Russian kills on camera.

Kyiv has launched an initiative that offers reward points to troops who can verify the destruction of enemy personnel or equipment during combat. These points can be redeemed for drones and other gear from an online, Amazon-style military tech store.

Each confirmed Russian soldier killed reportedly earns six points, while knocking out a main battle tank can yield up to 40.

According to Ukraine’s minister of digital transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, one unit — known as “Magyar’s Birds” — has already racked up over 16,000 points, enough to purchase hundreds of drones.

Other top-earning units include the 59th Separate Assault Brigade and the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment.

The Store

Unlike conventional military supply platforms, the Brave1 Market offers a curated selection of cutting-edge defense tech.

It reportedly stocks over 1,000 types of equipment, including drones, ground robots, firearms, and electronic warfare tools.

Soldiers can also order cameras, engines, batteries, and even satellite communication devices.

A popular kamikaze drone nicknamed “Baba Yaga” costs about 43 points.

The government covers the cost of all items ordered through the platform, allowing units to shop freely based on their accumulated points.

“The marketplace will significantly simplify the interaction between developers and the military,” Fedorov said, adding that military units can make transactions in just a few clicks.

Troops can also compare items and contact manufacturers directly through the site.
