Hanwha Aerospace’s Redback Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) has received a firepower upgrade that unlocks new mission roles for the next-gen tracked vehicle.
The vehicle’s hull now integrates a new turret from Lockheed Martin UK armed with a 40mm cannon and equipped with the SkyKeeper command-and-control system.
The setup allows the Redback to retain its conventional combat role while also supporting counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) operations from a single platform.
