Redwire Corporation has secured a place on a framework contract worth over $980 million to develop modern evaluation and preparatory solutions for the US Space Force.
The agreement adds the Florida-based company to 14 industry partners in the National Space Test and Training Complex Innovative Technology and Engineering – Space Test and Range (NITE-STAR) Capability Development program.
NITE-STAR covers up to 10 years of ordering phases, producing innovations to enhance assessment workflows and warfighter readiness for evolving requirements across the orbital domain.
Providing ‘Resilient’ Tools
Redwire said that its role in the initiative positions it to conceptualize, integrate, and maintain both terrestrial and space-deployed assets.
The upcoming work also supports the firm’s expansion into the US military supply chain for high-performance spacecraft, digital engineering tools, and infrastructure.
Among the company’s core products are solar arrays and structures, sensors and avionics, radio frequency payloads, small satellites and very low-Earth orbit platforms, as well as unmanned aerial systems.
