US drone manufacturer Powerus has secured a limited procurement order from Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence for unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and related support, expanding the company’s international defense footprint.
Separately, the Florida-based firm signed a memorandum of understanding with Pakistani defense officials to explore further cooperation in unmanned and autonomous systems.
The announcement followed a mid-September meeting in Rawalpindi between a Powerus delegation led by co-founder Brett Velicovich and Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff Syed Asim Munir.
