The US Army is turning to artificial intelligence to make sense of mounting sensor data, awarding Unstructured a $2-million contract to develop tools that prepare sensor feeds for AI systems and spot anomalies across multiple sources.
Under the 18-month project, the company will build multimodal data pipelines that ingest and preprocess sensor data, turning it into AI-ready information for downstream models and agents.
It will also develop tools that help surface previously unknown patterns across different sensor sources.
