HawkEye 360 has established its first European subsidiary in Luxembourg as it expands its defense and space business across the region.

The new entity will provide a local base for the company to work with European governments, defense companies, and space-sector organizations. The move will also support participation in emerging European defense programs and closer integration of its space-based radio-frequency capabilities with regional systems.

HawkEye 360 collects and geolocates radio-frequency emissions from satellites, producing data that can help identify communications, radar activity, GPS interference, and other signals relevant to defense and national security operations.

“The security environment is changing rapidly, and European nations need proven capabilities that can contribute to missions today,” HawkEye 360 CEO John Serafini said.

The latest move comes amid broader international growth. In June, the company announced more than $100 million in new international contract awards and contract option value secured during the first half of 2026 across eight international customers and programs.

HawkEye 360 Deepens Europe Ties

The Luxembourg expansion comes as HawkEye 360 has announced several new European partnerships and defense contracts.

In September, HawkEye 360 signed a memorandum of understanding with Italian defense company Leonardo. Under the deal, Leonardo will integrate HawkEye 360’s RF sensing capabilities into its space-based services.

The same month, the company announced a separate collaboration with Czech company ERA, which develops passive surveillance and tracking systems. ERA will process HawkEye 360 RF data into automated terrestrial and maritime radar products for defense and security customers.

Earlier, in March, HawkEye 360 said a European Ministry of Defense selected it for an electronic warfare program worth up to $75 million. HawkEye 360 is providing subscriptions to its Air Defense and GPS Interference Monitoring services, allowing the customer to monitor and assess activity across areas of interest.
