South Korea’s Hanwha Systems is moving satellite imagery closer to battlefield use with an AI-powered system that turns raw Earth-observation data into actionable intelligence within seconds.
The “Space AI Analytics Solution” automatically detects objects, analyzes situational patterns, and flags anomalies in imagery transmitted to ground stations, giving military operators faster access to intelligence from space-based sensors.
Hanwha demonstrated the technology at MSPO 2026 in Kielce, Poland, where it processed live imagery captured by an operational satellite over Eastern Europe. The September 9 event marked the system’s first overseas presentation.
