Rohde & Schwarz Picks ELT Group for German, Polish Warships Electronic Support Measures
Rohde & Schwarz has selected ELT Group to provide electronic warfare components for the German Navy’s F124 class frigates and the Polish Navy’s new Miecznick class multirole frigates.
The Munich-headquartered firm was last year commissioned to supply and integrate communications, radar electronic support measures, and radar countermeasures for the three German F124 frigates.
For the three Polish Miecznick vessels, the contract was for communications and radar and communications electronic support measures.
“This collaboration is founded on ELT Group’s capability to provide high-caliber solutions that align with Rohde & Schwarz’ stringent technical and commercial standards, as well as the synergistic fit between both companies’ portfolios,” Rohde & Schwarz stated.

KORA 40 Electronic Support Measures
The company will provide its KORA 40 family of systems for the contracts.
KORA 40 enables constant detection, identification, tracking, and analysis of both complex and wideband radar emissions and communication signals.
The integrated system provides a comprehensive situational awareness picture in real time, covering the entire electromagnetic spectrum with high sensitivity and long range.
“We are continuing our successful collaboration from the F126 project and look forward to a trustworthy cooperation,” managing director of Rohde & Schwarz Vertriebs-GmbH Alexander Philipp said.
“ELT Group’s team has delivered a meaningful expansion to the established R&S KORA solution. This order represents a significant milestone in the collaboration between the two companies and the German-Italian defense cooperation.”
