SAIC to Support US Navy Pacific Fleet Tactical Training
SAIC has signed a $120-million agreement to assist the US Navy Tactical Training Group Pacific’s (TTGP’s) fleet preparation effort.
The five-year contract will cover support for advanced tactical training that will prepare sailors for deployments, warfighting, and joint operations.
It includes technical services for Fleet Synthetic Training, Live-Virtual-Constructive war game development and execution, subject matter expert sessions, in-class doctrine, and related training system and facilities utilization at sea and on land.
Tasks will encompass the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific, Tactical Training Group Pacific, and the Carrier Strike Group 15 in addition to the TTGP.
“This contract reinforces SAIC’s reputation for providing the mission-critical training to the US Navy since 1992,” SAIC Navy Business Group Executive Vice President Barbara Supplee said.
“We are fully committed to delivering excellence in every aspect of the support we provide to ensure that the Navy’s training needs are reliably and efficiently met.”
The Virginia company’s latest award follows a $171.5-million project announced in August 2020 to support the US Navy’s Fleet Deployment Training Program.
Five months earlier, SAIC accepted a $45.2-million deal for similar tactical warfare training services for both the navy and marines.
