US, Iran Account for 86% of Global Military Drone Exports From 2022 to 2025: SIPRI

The US and Iran exported 16,822 military drones worldwide between 2022 and 2025, accounting for 86 percent of global exports during the period.

Data from the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) shows that the US delivered 7,592 drones, with 95 percent going to Ukraine.

Iran, meanwhile, exported 6,800 drones, 99 percent of which went to Russia. Most were Shahed-136 one-way attack systems.
