A controller sitting next to a gaming console may look harmless, but the same basic technology is now finding its way into some of the military’s most advanced systems.
US forces are using a reconfigured Xbox-style controller to direct laser weapon systems deployed in the Strait of Hormuz, according to the New York Post.
Iranian drones and missiles are among the reported targets, although the US Department of Defense has not independently verified the engagement details.
