The Boxer 8×8 just picked up a serious new air defense package.
US firm Moog has integrated its Reconfigurable Integrated Weapons Platform (RIwP) with the multi-role armored vehicle for the first time, turning the multi-role armored vehicle into a modular air defense platform.
The RIwP module equips the Boxer with an XM914 30x113mm cannon, M240 7.62mm machine gun, four Stinger missiles, and 16 70mm laser-guided rockets.
