The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has conducted its first trials of domestically produced remote-controlled buggies, advancing the country’s push to expand battlefield robotics.
Personnel from the Tymur Special Unit operated the uncrewed ground vehicles (UGVs) during the test, assessing their performance against criteria drawn from frontline requirements.
The soldiers then provided feedback that manufacturers will use to refine future versions of the vehicles. The ministry did not identify the companies involved.
