Egypt’s Ministry of Military Production is pushing to build domestic artificial intelligence capabilities through a new agreement covering AI training, technology transfer, and the potential local assembly of edge AI systems.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Intel and Toya Technology, a company affiliated with the ministry.
Under the agreement, Intel will provide training, technical guidance, and knowledge transfer as the ministry works to establish an AI ecosystem across its affiliated organizations.
