NP Aerospace has inaugurated a new hub in Coventry, England, to expand vehicle armor integration services for global defense customers.
The 80,000-square-foot (7,432-square-meter) site consists of both indoor and outdoor spaces to maximize production, engineering, and outfitting of protective equipment on a fleet-wide scale.
Capabilities at the center include vehicle assembly and fabrication equipment, customer support offices, a spare parts shop, finishing platforms, and sustainable energy solutions.
The British company highlighted that its latest facility is strategically built near an existing armor production site in Foleshill, bolstering the UK’s supply chain and increasing locally sourced talent in support of full and partial defense systems, as well as commercial vehicle partners.

Currently, NP Aerospace is engaged in the Protected Mobility Engineering and Technical Support (PMETS) contract, which covers long-term engineering and technical services to improve the protection and mobility of over 1,600 UK Armed Forces vehicles.
In 2024, the firm won a $95-million contract to provide Conventional Vehicle Systems Spares and Post Design Services (CVSSP) for over 15,000 land-based platforms employed by the UK Ministry of Defence.
“For our international customers, this new facility will serve as a central hub to support the continued delivery of our vehicle and armour export programmes, following the acquisition and contract novation activities completed in 2024,” NP Aerospace CEO James Kempston commented.
“For the UK Ministry of Defence, it enhances our ability to deliver on major programmes, including Protected Mobility and Conventional Vehicle fleet contracts such as PMETS and CVSSP, while also reinforcing vital onshore defence capabilities well into the future.”
