Conti Federal to Support US Navy Infrastructure Works in Pacific
Conti Federal has accepted a $990-million deal to modernize US Navy infrastructure installed in the Pacific area of operations.
The services incorporate new facility developments, renovations, repairs, and upgrades that align with the force’s Pacific Deterrence Initiative, Exercise Related Construction, Unspecified Minor Military Construction, Security Cooperation programs, and other related projects.
Part of the Florida-based company’s tasks will encompass airfield paving, waterfront construction, and other military base enhancements.
The contract is planned to extend across the Australian Northern Territory, the Caroline Islands, the Maldives, Fiji, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, and Vietnam.
Work on the projects will be conducted in collaboration with the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command.
“Expanding our footprint under the Indo-Pacific [Multiple Award Construction Contract] reinforces our long-standing commitment to supporting NAVFAC’s global mission,” Conti Federal’s Regional Business Development – Pacific Director Jason Roberts stated.
“We’re proud to bring our proven capabilities to get the job Done Once, Done Right and agile teams to deliver critical infrastructure across the region with excellence and reliability.”
Other Pacific Infrastructure Efforts
Conti Federal’s US Navy award followed the firm’s signing of a separate Pacific-based construction deal to renovate a US Marine Corps camp in Okinawa, Japan.
The company also facilitated a fuel system repair at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, which supports US Air and Space Force teams, allied militaries, and tenant units stationed in the region.
