Ukraine has sent a military aid request to Estonia in support of its continuing defense against Russia’s aggression.

The 100 million euros ($108.4 million) in assistance will incorporate unmanned aerial and ground systems, watercraft, medical solutions, and related supply sources from Estonian industry partners.

Tallinn has not revealed the timeline of the potential donation, quantities, or other specifics due to security reasons.

The Baltic state noted that the project aligns with the government’s commitment to allocate at least 0.25 percent of its annual gross domestic product (GDP) to Kyiv’s now three-year defense.

“It was gratifying to see that there were a lot of Estonian manufacturers who offered their products,” Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur stated.

“Today we received feedback from Ukraine, which will allow us to deliver the aid to the Ukrainians as quickly as possible.”

Latest Projects for Ukraine

Since Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Estonia has continued to pledge its support to expand the latter’s defensive capabilities.

In February, Tallinn announced a separate initiative to send 10,000 artillery shells to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
