India’s ‘VEER’ Electric All-Terrain Stealth Vehicle Undergoes Military Trials

India’s VEER electric tactical all-terrain vehicle (E-TATV) has undergone military trials for the first time to assess its potential for defense use.

The trials follow the selection of the stealth vehicle and its manufacturer, Pravaig Dynamics, as the latest recipient of the prestigious iDEX award from the Indian Ministry of Defence.

The iDEX award recognizes and supports innovators who develop cutting-edge solutions to enhance the operational capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces. Recipients are granted funding and opportunities to collaborate with defense agencies to bring these innovations to fruition.

According to Pravaig Dynamics, the VEER has been extensively field-tested across a variety of terrains and altitudes, showcasing its adaptability and reliability under diverse conditions.

The company has yet to disclose the results of the military trials or the next steps for the vehicle’s integration into India’s armed forces.

‘Built in India, for India’

The VEER E-TATV is engineered to be a highly stealthy and versatile platform, designed for a range of critical missions, including forward patrols, intelligence gathering, surveillance, and reconnaissance.

With a powerful drivetrain, the vehicle is capable of withstanding harsh and demanding operational environments.

One of the VEER’s standout features is its field-repairability, which ensures that it can be quickly maintained and repaired in operational settings.

This minimizes downtime and enhances the vehicle’s mission readiness.

The VEER also has a robust data security system, which ensures it retains complete control over the data it collects, safeguarding it from potential external interference or compromise.

Pravaig proudly emphasizes that the VEER has been “built in India, for India,” highlighting its domestic development and commitment to meeting the specific needs of the Indian military.
