Ukrainian Forces Deploy Domestic ‘Shahed-Like’ Seth Drone on Frontlines

Ukraine has deployed a domestically developed unmanned aerial system (UAS) resembling the Iranian Shahed drones used by Russia on the frontlines. 

The “Seth” tactical strike UAS is built with a tailless delta-wing design, similar to the Shahed-136 kamikaze drone — its Russian variant is known as “Geran 2” — typically used on the battlefield. 

With the first batch consisting of an unspecified number donated by the Come Back Alive Foundation supporting Ukraine, the drones have been fielded by the  “Azov” 12th Special Operations Brigade under the Ukrainian National Guard on the embattled Toretsk front.
