D-Fend Unveils EnforceAir2 for Maritime Counter-Drone Operations

D-Fend Solutions has introduced “EnforceAir2 Maritime,” a system designed for counter-drone operations at sea.

EnforceAir2 Maritime is capable of detecting, tracking, and neutralizing unauthorized drones.

Its scalable design allows deployment in various maritime environments, safeguarding ports, harbors, and key transport routes without interfering with other communication networks.

“Naval and maritime counter-drone operations bring unique challenges that must be addressed without compromising safety or advanced communications,” explained Yaniv Benbenisti, President and Chief Product Officer at D-Fend Solutions.

Features

The system integrates a software-defined radio designed to resist harsh weather conditions at sea.

It features an ultra-wide-band radome antenna that supports full 360-degree coverage for ground and shipboard use.

EnforceAir2 Maritime is designed for easy integration with naval defense systems, featuring a compact structure that allows for flexible installation.

Latest Counter-Drone Systems

Defense industries worldwide are increasing the development of counter-drone systems to combat unmanned aerial vehicle threats.

Last month, Lockheed Martin introduced a scalable counter-drone system designed to detect, track, and neutralize multiple low-flying drones using a network of sensors and an advanced command-and-control system.

The same month, DZYNE Technologies unveiled a wearable counter-small unmanned aerial system that can target drones 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) away.

In January, India’s Solar Group tested a kinetic counter-drone swarm system developed for the Indian Army.
