Air Industries Group has secured contracts to supply landing gear components for the US Air Force’s B-1B Lancer heavy bomber and F-16 Fighting Falcon combat aircraft.
Work for the project is valued at $1.5 million, according to the New York-based company.
“The market for supplying products used in maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft is very large,” Air Industries Group CEO Lou Melluzzo stated.
“Our reenergized business development activities are focused on this large market. These two contracts, while individually modest, are important evidence of the growing success of our efforts.”

Recent US Military Contracts
Air Industries Group’s latest contract follows a separate agreement worth $5.9 million in January requesting the firm to provide flight control assemblies for the US Air Force’s F-5 Tiger fighter jet and T-38 Talon trainer aircraft.
In December 2024, the company accepted an award to deliver landing gear systems for the US Navy’s E-2D Advanced Hawkeye tactical airborne early warning aircraft.
This $11-million contract will begin in the second half of 2025, with associated shipments to be conducted by 2026.
Two years earlier, Air Industries received an initial contract valued at $1.9 million to produce landing gear components for the air force’s Lancer bomber planes.
