The lightweight LP5X features an ambidextrous and compact design and operates with a single CR123A battery.

It has three operating modes: training (eye-safe), low, and high.

The Lithuanian-made device is in use in 23 countries, including four NATO armies.

Similarly, the BPS14 night vision system is battle-proven and operational with the Lithuanian and Ukrainian armed forces.

It features cutting-edge European high-FOM I2T technology and is equipped with BROLIS laser illumination.

Modern Soldier Equipment Program

The Lithuanian government plans to invest up to 1.2 billion euros ($1.33 billion) in its phased Modern Soldier Equipment Program, which includes modern weapons, equipment, and clothing over the next decade.

A total of 30 million euros ($33 million) has been earmarked over the next two years and the rest over the next ten years, according to Defense Minister Laurynas Kasciunas.

The country plans to equip a total of 77,000 soldiers by 2030 under the program.
