General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has received contracts worth $330 million to deliver support services for the US Army’s Mission Training Complexes.

Mission Training Complexes offer military courses for leadership, management, and development roles across in-country and overseas bases.

About $180 million of the deals will be used to support preparations across installations in the Pacific region for up to five years, while another $150 million will be committed to training services at facilities managed by the XVIII Airborne Corps rapid-deployment contingency unit for up to five and a half years.

The Virginia-based firm noted that its assistance will encompass live, virtual, and constructive solutions used to deliver immersive simulations for approximately 500,000 troops.

GDIT will also deliver associated logistical and technical support for both proficiency tracks included in this project.

“Advanced training capabilities are critical to maintaining warfighter superiority,” GDIT Defense Senior Vice President Brian Sheridan stated.

“We look forward to continuing our long-standing support to the Army with modern training services that will meet the demands of a constantly evolving battlefield environment.”

GDIT’s latest deals follow a $160-million task order in February to provide similar services for Mission Training Complex sites under the US Army III Armored Corps.

The company also received a $1.7-billion contract in 2023 to assist the army’s flight school in Alabama as well as a $383-million deal for the US Navy’s Surface Combat Systems Training Command in Virginia.
