Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has transferred 1,600 first-person view (FPV) drones and other equipment to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, valued at 45 million hryvnias ($1 million).
The delivery includes excavators for engineering and assault teams, Mavic drones, 257 Vanilla Tsukorok drones, and all-terrain vehicles.
Since the outbreak of the war with Russia in 2022, the Ukrainian politician has regularly provided military aid to Kyiv through his foundation.
Late last month, it delivered three Ai-Petri electronic warfare systems to the Ukrainian Army.
“Ai-Petri protects our units from Russian abominations, Orlans, Supercams, Lancets, Maviks, and even from FPV drones for tens of kilometers of the battle line,” Poroshenko said.
The system includes a radio-electronic warfare station, a modern radar station, and an anti-drone device.
Last November, Poroshenko personally invested 200 million hryvnias ($4.8 million) in the development of the Ai-Petri, according to local outlet Militarniy.
