The US Defense Information Analysis Center has awarded CACI a $314-million contract to provide engineering services for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC).

Tasks will focus on the agency’s operations dedicated to technological development, delivery, and associated personnel training.

Support will encompass project management, integration, logistics, cyber solutions, and analysis.

CACI said that covered activities will aid NUWC in implementing fleet exercises and other military events, as well as in testing the latest platforms and vulnerability checkups to decrease the risk of cyberattacks.

“As threats become increasingly sophisticated and widespread, the demand for robust protective systems rises accordingly,” CACI President and Chief Executive Officer John Mengucci stated.

“CACI’s ability to modernize sensors and ensure their secure interconnectivity is paramount to providing today’s commanders with timely situational awareness and the ability to make accurate, informed decisions.”

Recent US Military Projects

The Virginia defense contractor signed a similar US deal in April 2024 to supply its communication and information technology expertise for the US Africa and European Command.

One month earlier, the firm received a $239-million order to revamp the US Army’s highly secretive network.

CACI accepted another US Army project in 2022 to leverage its mission expertise for the service’s Futures Command.
