Nevada-based engineering company TRAX International has received a $692-million contract to deliver test support services for the US Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC).
Led by the Army Test and Evaluation Command, the ATC offers real-world and simulated trials and training support for military, government, and private partners.
The deal stipulates five years of concurrent support for ATC’s facility in Maryland and the Yuma Test Center in Arizona.
This will enable the sharing of capabilities and technical solutions to bolster efficiency at both site’s operations.
The agreement encompasses planning, analysis, reporting, and execution of multiple tests, including those under developmental and production trials for key army equipment.
Additional services will support other US Army Program Executive Offices as well as research and development segments in early acquisition phases.
TRAX wrote that it has been supporting the US Department of Defense as an Army Test and Evaluation Command prime contractor since the company’s launch in 1979.
Previous engagements involved testing support for various army sites, range tests, and facility bases across New Mexico, Utah, Alaska, Texas, and Hawaii.
