HII segment Mission Technologies has received a $305-million task order to supply analysis and operational support services for American intelligence in South Korea.

The agreement will see the company assist the US Department of Defense Joint Intelligence Operations Center – Korea in analyzing “relevant and actionable” information supporting American warfighters deployed in the region.

Mission Technologies will also aid US Forces Korea in organizing additional intelligence activities over the Korean Theater of Operations to enhance the security of personnel and interests across Seoul’s territories.

Work for the contract will take place over five years and leverage other assets completed through a previous project signed with the US Defense Intelligence Agency in 2019.

The potential value of the agreement is $17 billion. HII subsidiary Fulcrum IT Services secured the contract alongside 15 industry partners.

“We are excited about the opportunity to expand our relationship with [US Forces Korea] and support its important mission while working in close coordination with the joint staff, service components and intelligence agencies,” Mission Technologies C5ISR President Todd Gentry stated during the contract award.

“Our experts have a long history assessing and advising on national security issues and are committed to protecting US regional interests.”

Intelligence Contract for Five Eyes Alliance

HII signed a contract in November 2023 to deliver information-sharing capabilities to the US Air Force.

This project is part of the Pentagon’s efforts to amplify intelligence networks among the Five Eyes alliance comprising the US, the UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.
