Technology developer TurnOnGreen has received a $1-million contract to produce and deliver small power solutions supporting US and NATO tactical communications.

The portable power equipment will be deployed to users including US Homeland Security, first responders, and NATO personnel.

The order consists of ruggedized military-standard uninterruptible power switching and charging solutions to power satellite-based tactical communication networks.

Design, engineering, and manufacturing will be conducted by TurnOnGreen electronic subsidiary Digital Power Corporation (DPC) over one year.

“DPC and TurnOnGreen consistently fulfill the rigorous demands of our partners in the defense industry by designing and delivering a wide range of adaptable power supply products that meet military grade standards,” TurnOnGreen President Marcus Charuvastra said.

“These products are typically designed for deployment in the most demanding environments, ensuring unwavering reliability and durability.”

Future Orders Expected

The contract followed an initial award for the first-generation portable power solutions in 2020.

It delivered similar equipment to supply satellite-controlled systems with continuous and stable power in GPS-contested environments and jamming-interference warfare scenarios.

“We believe that these recent orders are a direct result of our past achievements in developing and delivering customized power solutions that offer exceptional quality and advanced features.”

“With this second-generation solution designed for various tactical communication platforms, we are well-positioned to pursue additional similar orders.”
