INVISIO has received a contract to supply artificial intelligence-enabled communications and hearing protection systems for a non-NATO European army.

Under the contract, the Swedish company will supply its V-Series Gen II 42-decibel double hearing protection and X5 submersible in-ear headsets.

The solutions provide automatic sound adaptation, enhanced speech precision, and digital signal processing to clear communications and filter unwanted noise for warfighters during combat.

Expanding Business in Europe

INVISIO said the agreement is worth 40 million Swedish kronor ($3.8 million). The capabilities were selected through a competitive evaluation of various products.

Delivery for the systems is scheduled for 2023.

The company expects additional orders from the service following the recently awarded contract.

“We are proud that yet another European defense organization has chosen INVISIO,” INVISIO CEO Lars Højgård Hansen stated.

“This and other recently won contracts are clear signs that activity levels in the market are high.”

“The immediate future is therefore looking really exciting, and it is now time to start reaping the benefits of our recent years’ significant investments in the product portfolio and organization.”
