Dedrone has partnered with Allied Universal segment G4S to offer counter-drone solutions in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
The agreement expands the availability of Dedrone’s command and control drone detection, tracking, and identification solution suite to 50 nations.
“This partnership with Dedrone enables us to add another layer in our risk-based assessment approach, to assess the customer specific threat level, in perimeter and airspace protection,” G4S Technology Solutions Development Regional Director Erik Deleersnyder stated.

DedroneTracker
Called the DedroneTracker, the command and control suite features open systems architecture enabling future integration of third-party cameras and sensors.
DedroneTracker is equipped with detection, tracking, and identification protocols and an AI/machine learning engine to evaluate and prioritize aerial threats autonomously.
It can work alongside DedroneDefender to protect drones against precision radio frequency jamming.
Supporting Latvian State Police
Latvia will be the first customer to benefit from the partnership. The counter-drone solution will form a mobile drone detection system in Riga.
“This detection equipment is a significant addition to the State Police of Latvia’s ability to effectively control the traffic of uncrewed aerial vehicles,” Latvian State Police Drone and Air Navigation Specialist Māris Vitkovski explained.
“The first tests with Dedrone have proven that it’s of a high quality; it will undoubtedly improve our ability to strengthen Latvia’s internal national security.”
‘Essential Layer of Security’
According to Dedrone, the solutions will bolster the state police’s capability to mitigate drone risks while preserving freedom over public drone utility.
“We face a real challenge in Latvia with drones due to the risks in crowded areas and to critical national infrastructure with an increasing number of drones being produced and sold every year,” G4S Latvia Technology Department Head Aleksandrs Šnevels emphasized.
“What we needed was a flexible system which detects any drone that can be deployed in different situations to provide an essential layer of security. Dedrone provides that flexibility without sacrificing security.”
