The US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has teamed up with California-based SentinelOne for the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC) to “further support the US government’s strategy to secure the cyber ecosystem and critical infrastructure.”

As part of the partnership, the company will provide its autonomous platform to assist in data collection, analysis, and sharing of cyber threats under JCDC.

“JCDC goes beyond other public-private partnerships, delivering collaborative engagement between the nation’s top cyber minds with a focus on planning, action, and mitigation,” SentinelOne Americas Sales and Solution Engineering Senior Vice President Jared Phipps stated.

SentinelOne’s membership will also see the employment of SentinelLabs, a team of security experts specializing in cyber-related malware strains, critical vulnerabilities, new attack vectors, and threat actors.

The team’s insights are expected to provide JCDC with “unparalleled visibility into emerging threats” and prepare US defense ahead of potential attacks.

“With exceptional speed, scale and intelligence, our team and technology will play a crucial role in the organization’s continued success. We have partnered closely with [the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency] for years and look forward to continuing that relationship, helping protect the world’s most critical assets and information,” Phipps said.

Launched in 2021, JCDC has been leveraging the expertise of global cyber communities to secure US defense cyberspace and associated critical infrastructures.

The initiative includes the support of cybersecurity companies, infrastructure owners, and US government segments.
