The Ukrainian Army has apparently received Titan-S armored personnel carriers from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
A Twitter account tracking Ukraine’s weapons tracker uploaded a short video showing Kyiv’s forces maneuvering several Titan-S vehicles in the abandoned city of Pripyat, near the Ukraine-Belarus border.
The account did not specify how many of the UAE-made personnel carriers were delivered to the war-torn nation or show supplied them.
This is not the first time the Ukrainian Army has been seen using foreign weapons and equipment not reported by major news outlets.
Last month, the service was spotted using Israeli-made armored vehicles in the newly-liberated city of Kherson.
Titan-S Armored Vehicles
Developed by INKAS, the Titan-S is a 4×4 armored personnel carrier built on a Toyota Land Cruiser 79 chassis.
It is described as a “versatile and reliable” vehicle that has blast resistant seats and a B7 protection level, stopping various armor-piercing rounds from high-velocity rifles.
The vehicle can accommodate up to eight military personnel, including the driver and the commander.
The Titan-S is suited for military operations in challenging combat zones.
