Turkish “technology-based think tank” STM ThinkTech has secured two contracts to support NATO with its Aggregated Resilience Model.
The solution evaluates the impact of civilian and military crises and their risks to critical infrastructure in the transportation, energy, and communication sectors.
Under the agreements, the organization will provide NATO with its model for decision-making processes to help secure the alliance against “strategic shocks” such as cyber attacks, pandemics, electricity blackouts, and large population movements.
“The Aggregated Resilience Model that we have developed to support NATO’s decision-making processes assumes an important role in the strategic level analysis of the effects of large-scale and complex problems and in determining the road maps drawn by decision-makers,” explained Özgür Güleryüz, General Manager at STM.
The first contract requires STM to leverage its Aggregated Resilience Model to plan and implement operations for NATO’s Multi-Domain Operations in Urban Environment Concept Validation Exercise.
The second contract will deliver STM’s model and related consultancy services to the 2023 NATO Crisis Management Exercise.
