CACI to Support US Army Futures Command With Mission Expertise

CACI International has secured a contract to provide mission expertise for the US Army Futures Command (AFC).

The $54.6 million agreement covers assistance for the AFC’s Assured, Positioning, Navigation, Timing, and Space Cross Functional Team (APNT/Space) at Redstone Arsenal base in Huntsville, Alabama.

CACI will assist APNT/Space in identifying cost-effective opportunities to enhance its transformational research and development performance to support the army’s modernization and national security needs.

The agreement is part of a Department of Defense Information Analysis Center multiple-award contract from the US Air Force’s 774th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron to bolster the US military’s technical information resources and research community.

“Through this opportunity, we will bring industry-leading mission expertise and innovative ideas to Redstone Arsenal to meet immediate and future warfighter needs,” CACI President and CEO John Mengucci said.

“This new work also represents strategic growth in the expanding Huntsville region,” according to the information technology company.

CACI in US Army Intelligence and Security

In July, CACI signed a task order to deliver mission expertise for the US Army’s Intelligence and Security Command and the 116th Military Intelligence Brigade.

Valued at more than $80 million, the contract was awarded under the army’s SIA-3 (Solutions for Intelligence Analysis 3) contract vehicle.

Per the agreement, CACI will provide tactical intelligence and analytical expertise to support the force’s aerial intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance operations.
