Car bomb kills at least 8 people in Al Bab, Syria
At least eight people were killed and 20 others injured on Saturday after a car bomb exploded near the Grand Mosque in the northern Syria town of Al Bab, Anadolu Agency reported.

Some of the injured are in a critical condition, Ammar Selmo, head of the Syrian Civil Defense in Al Bab, told Anadolu, raising fears the death toll may rise.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Al-Bab, which lies between SDF-held Manbij and government-held Aleppo city, was captured from Islamic State in February 2017 by Turkish forces and allied Free Syrian Army fighters during Turkey’s Operation Euphrates Shield.
In a similar incident on March 6, one person was killed and five others wounded after a vehicle exploded in Al Bab town centre, Anadolu reported.
